As an editor, my goal is to help your writing shine. Ideally, the editing process is a collaborative one in which we'll work together to clean and sharpen your writing, while preserving your unique voice and perspective. I'm excited to work with writers across genres, interests, and fields.

Rates vary depending on the service and scope of the project, however, I generally charge $0.05 per word or $45-$50 per hour.

Experience

I have over 10 years of experience as a full-time editor in the publishing, nonprofit, and media industries. For the past five years, I worked as Lead Copy Editor at Red Ventures. On a contract basis, I’ve provided copy editing, developmental editing, and fact checking services on print and digital content for companies like National Geographic Learning and Guild. I’ve also beta read multiple novels, ranging in genre from mystery to fantasy to rom-com, and am currently a fiction reader for Fractured Lit. I hold certificates in copy editing from Emerson College and Poynter. I’m happy to provide my full resume upon request.
