"A word after a word after a word is power." - Margaret Atwood
I am a professional writer and editor with experience in publishing and communications. In 2014, I graduated from Allegheny College with a degree in English and minors in History and Women's Studies. During my college years, I had the opportunity to participate in editorial and communications internships at The Moorpark / Camarillo Acorn, The Sandra Dijkstra Literary Agency, and Knock Knock Stuff. On campus, I worked as a Career Peer Advisor in the Career Education department, honing my cover letter and resume-editing skills. I also served as Nonfiction Editor, and later Fiction Editor, of Allegheny's literary magazine, Overkill.
Since graduating from college, I have worked in full-time editorial roles at major academic publishers and am currently the Communications and New Media Specialist at the Jewish Women’s Archive. You can find my writing in online and print publications like Bitch Media, Bust Magazine, The Feminist Wire, and The Scout.
